Safety center

Your safety comes first

Leave any conversation that makes you uncomfortable. Blocking ends contact; reporting sends the incident to moderation for review.

In immediate danger, contact your local emergency services. VMatch is not an emergency service.

During a call

  1. Select End or Next to leave immediately.
  2. Open Safety to report or block the other person.
  3. Choose the most accurate report reason and add concise details.

What happens after a report

We may review account history, relevant messages, call metadata, prior reports, and other information needed to assess the allegation. Reports involving suspected underage use or violence are prioritised for review. A report does not guarantee a specific outcome. Deliberately false or abusive reports violate the Community Guidelines.

Where stronger age assurance is enabled, VMatch records only the result, method, review time, and a one-way external reference. Do not send identity documents by email.

Appeal a decision

Email safety@vmatch.live from your account email. Include the decision date, the restriction shown, and why you believe it should be reviewed. A human reviewer should assess significant restrictions where reasonably available.

Privacy

Send only information needed for the review. Do not email passwords, government identification, or explicit material unless our safety team specifically requests a secure submission method.
