Terms of Service

These terms govern your access to VMatch. By creating an account, you enter into an agreement with the VMatch operator described below.

1. Who may use VMatch

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement. You must provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure.

2. The service

VMatch provides random one-to-one video matching, realtime chat, blocking, and reporting tools. Availability, matching times, and uninterrupted connections are not guaranteed. Camera and microphone access is requested only when needed for a call.

3. Your responsibilities

You must follow the Community Guidelines, applicable law, and the privacy and intellectual-property rights of others. You are responsible for content you choose to transmit.

4. Safety and moderation

You may leave any call, block another person, or submit a report. We may investigate suspected violations and restrict or close accounts where reasonably necessary for safety, legal compliance, or service integrity. You may request review through Safety.

5. Account closure

You may delete your account from the account privacy controls. We may suspend or terminate access for serious or repeated violations. Some limited information may be retained where required for legal claims, fraud prevention, or safety, as explained in the Privacy Notice.

6. Ownership

VMatch and its software, branding, and service design belong to the operator or its licensors. These terms do not transfer ownership. You retain rights in content you submit and grant us only the limited rights necessary to operate, secure, and moderate the service.

7. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded. Users are responsible for their conduct; VMatch does not endorse people you meet through random matching.

8. Changes

Material changes will receive a new version and effective date. When appropriate, we will ask you to accept the updated terms before continuing to use affected features.

Operator configuration required: the deployer must set NEXT_PUBLIC_LEGAL_CONTROLLER_NAME to the full legal name of the person or company operating VMatch before treating this document as final.
